Barbara Ann Martin, 67, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, November 25th, 2015 at her home. She was born in Batesville, Arkansas on August 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Ova (McCollum) and Stanley J Tate. Barbara was united in marriage to the late Hubertis Martin on February 5, 1963 in Highland, Arkansas and to this union came two children. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Barbara was a homemaker and farmer. She loved farming and being outside. She is survived by her two children, Jimmy Hubertis Martin and wife Nicie of Ash Flat, Arkansas and Crystal Ann Martin of Ash Flat, Arkansas; two sisters, Bonnie Hutchins and husband Lonnie of Wiseman, Arkansas and Carol Yancey of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Austin Stark, Shayna Campbell and husband Brandon and Christopher Martin and four great grandchildren, Brooklyn Dienst, Jayda Campbell, Lillian Martin and Hudson Campbell. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Ova Tate; husband, Hubertis Martin; brother, Bobby Jo Tate and sister, Katherine Sue Tate.

Pallbearers are: Dale Godwin, Gary Tyner, Gary Dienst, Austin Stark, Brandon Campbell and Wacey Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Terrill Smith, Christopher Martin and Dan Melbourne.

Services are Friday, November 27, 2015 beginning at 10:00 AM at Agnos Church of Christ, 11883 US 62, Ash Flat, Arkansas 72513 with Rev. Farrell Nicholson officiating. Internment will follow at Agnos Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
