Dixie Wilson

Dixie Wilson, 83, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, March 18, 2024, in Ash Flat, Arkansas. 

She was born on April 15, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, to the late Harlson Haywood Dodd and Pearl Rabe Micheals. She was united in marriage to Gary Wilson on August 7, 1960, in Marshalltown, Iowa. Dixie obtained a master’s degree in business. During her working years, she worked as a lab technician for Dow Chemical in Chicago, Illinois. Dixie was a member of the Horseshoe Bend United Methodist Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. 

Dixie is survived by her husband, Gary Wilson of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and sister, Madelon Gauer of Sun City, Arizona. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
