Eleanor “Ellen” Bernice Love, 79, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas passed from this walk of life on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Ash Flat, Arkansas.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on July 18, 1946, daughter of the late Stanley and Adel Burnicks. Ellen was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Love on July 9, 1983, in Chicago, Illinois. During her working years, Ellen worked in hospital administration. Ellen volunteered with the Friends of the Animals in Horseshoe Bend and was of the Catholic faith. She loved flower gardens and her family.

Ellen is survived by her husband Bob Love of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; son Michael Love (Christine) of Rickman, Tennessee; daughter Kathy Robertson of Goddard, Kansas; grandchildren Dylan Love and Deanna Highfill; great grandchildren Danielle Highfill, Melanie Highfill and Grayson Love and sister Janet Mose of Hinsdale, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Stanley Burnicks and Matt Burnicks and sister Dorothy Burnicks.

Pallbearers include: Dylan Love, Michael Love, Gary Duncan, Bob McCarty, Jessica Gross and Lance Gross

Graveside services are Monday, March 2, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM at Roberts Cemetery in Franklin, Arkansas, with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
