Gladys Mae Mueller was born to Leonora and David Moore on April 12, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She departed this life and went to be with her Lord in Heaven on September 27, 2015 at the age of 87. Gladys spent her life as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister in law, friend and homemaker. She was united in marriage to Richard E. Mueller on April 9, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and to this union came three children, Roy, Audrey and Allen. Gladys was a loving wife to her husband, Richard for over 66 years and loved her children, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren very much. She enjoyed life and was a teletype operator and worked for a number of companies while raising three children. Gladys enjoyed reading, golf, bowling, playing cards, dancing, traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Horseshoe Bend. Gladys had a full and joyfull life with her loving husband and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Richard of over 66 years; children, Roy and wife Pat of Wisconsin, Audrey of Las Vegas and Allen and wife Kathy of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Shawn and wife Tracy Mantel, Brian Mantel, Kevin Mueller and Kristine and husband Kevin Dorrough; six great grandchildren, Alexandyr, Micah-Adam, Anna and Samuel Mueller, Kaden Dorrough and Braxton Mantel; one sister, Patsy Moore Harwood of Texas; two brother and sister in laws, Robert and Glenda Mueller of Horseshoe Bend and Ronald and Arlene Mueller of Ft. Myers, Florida and three sister in laws, Louise Mueller of Horseshoe Bend, Joan Mueller of Curtiss, Wisconsin and Dianne Mueller-Totsky of Richfield, Wisconsin. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Moore. Memorials preferred to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 508 Profession Drive, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas 72512.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 beginning at 5:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service Chapel, 903 Third Street, Horseshoe Bend. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 beginning at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Horseshoe Bend with Rev. David Tews officiating.
