Harry DePaul Hamblin, Sr.

Harry DePaul Hamblin, Sr., 87, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was born in Forrest City, Arkansas, on February 7, 1938, son of the late Otha and Linda (Pearl) Hamblin. Harry served our country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to the late Dorothy Almeda West in February of 1959 and they celebrated over 60 years of marriage until her death in 2018. Harry worked for Firestone Tire for 25 years. He enjoyed reading, his favorites were crime, novels, history books and Zane Gray Westerns. Harry loved watching sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Harry is survived by his sons, Richard Wesley Hamblin of Arkansas and Harry “Paul” Hamblin, Jr. of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; daughters, Penny Eudy (William) of Bryant, Arkansas and Angela Esquibell (Terry) of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Dylan DePaul Hamblin, Haley Staton, Victoria Esquibell, Tim McCormack, Coty Hamblin, Aaron Hamblin, Stephanie Revis and Christopher Hamblin and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hamblin; parents; granddaughter, Heather Pettus; seven brothers and four sisters.
