James Thomas Rampley

James Thomas Rampley, 69, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019, at his home in Horseshoe Bend.

He was born in Aragon, Georgia on August 25, 1949, son of the late Ben Thompson and Lavonia Francis (Bannister) Rampley. James spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband and father. He was united in marriage to June Lee Morris on October 1, 2010 in Hanford, California. During his working years, he worked for Chevron as a field engineer in the oil industry. James enjoyed archery, guns, ammo, hunting and fishing.

James is survived by his wife, June Rampley of Horseshoe Bend; son, James Rampley, Jr. of Georgia and sister, Carol Rampley of Avenal, California.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Rampley; parents, Ben and Lavonia Rampley and brother, Gary Rampley.
