Jim William Johnson, 74, of Sidney, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his home in Sidney.

He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on May 24, 1951, son of the late James Casper and Rose Amanda (Goetsch) Johnson. Jim was united in marriage to Debra Sage on September 23, 1972, in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. He served our country in the United States Army. During his working years, Jim was a supervisor for ConAgra and the Shirt Factory. Jim enjoyed fishing and staying busy. He loved his family and spending time with them gave him the greatest joy. Jim had a motto for life that rings very true, “Life is in the doing”.

Jim is survived by his wife Debra Johnson of Sidney, Arkansas; son Tim Johnson of Sidney, Arkansas; daughters Tracy Donahue (Michael) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Lisa Hurtt (Tim) of Salem, Arkansas; sister Lauri Johnson of Florida; grandchildren Ryan Vaughn, Robert Vaughn, Garrett Dietsche, Olivia Wilbanks and Abby Dietsche and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and other family members.

Pallbearers include: JP Sage, Michael Donahue, Tim Hurtt, Ryan Vaughn, Robert Vaughn, Garrett Dietsche

Funeral services will be Friday, February 6, 2026, at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend beginning at 10:00 AM with Bro. Tony Stunz officiating.
