Karen J. McKnight, 66, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

She was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on June 19, 1960, daughter of George Lewis and Ernestine (Harris) Lewis. Karen was united in marriage to Marty McKnight and together they spent 27 years together making a life they loved and enjoyed. She spent most of her working years in banking in California and Horseshoe Bend. At the time of her retirement, Karen had worked for FNBC for 15 years. Above all Karen loved her family. She wanted more than anything for them to know how much she loved them and cherished her relationship with each one. Karen will be missed but her legacy lives on through her family.

Karen is survived by her husband, Marty McKnight; children, Cody Oquendo and Victoria Pena, Karisa and Anthony Carlos and Jody and Gina McKnight; Gramzy’s babies, Greyson McKnight, Adeline McKnight, Cameron Carlos, Lainey-Jo Neal and Addie Tharp; nieces, Caitlan-Jo Neal and Megan Tharp; mother, Ernestine Lewis and sisters, Kay Spivey and Suzanne Steinbach.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Lewis.

Graveside services will be held in Mississippi at a later date.
