Lillian Lorain Younger

Lillian Lorain Younger, 78, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, March 28th, at Crown Point Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 1, 1935, a daughter of the late Kathryn (Coble) and Harry Holck. Lillian was united in marriage to John David Younger on June 10, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. She spent her working years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Lillian was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Horseshoe Bend, Illinois Club, Bowling Club and AARP. Lillian is survived by her husband, John Younger of the home, one son, Gary Younger and wife Kate of LaGrange, Illinois, three daughters, Kathi and husband Dan McIntire of Moorhead, Minnesota, Laura and husband David Cavanaugh of Chicago, Illinois, and Beth and husband Mike Hartman of St. Louis, Missouri, one brother, Richard Holck of Highland, Indiana, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold Holck. Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend with a wake starting at 6:00 PM and ending at 9:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM that evening. Internment will be Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Evening Shadows Memorial Park in Horseshoe Bend beginning at 9:30 AM. Memorials are preferred to American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22311. Arrangements are entrusted to Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service of Horseshoe Bend.
