Matthew Junior Farrell

Matthew Junior Farrell, 92, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 at his home in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. 

He was born in Dunfermline, Illinois on January 4, 1925, a son of the late Mildred Marie Matayo  and Frank Vance Farrell. Matthew spent his life as a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He was united in marriage to the late Donna Jean Blakesmith on July 4, 1946 in Pekin, Illinois. Matthew served in the U.S. Navy and received a Purple Heart. During his working years, he worked as a design engineer. 

Matthew is survived by his son, Matthew Joseph Farrell and wife Adriana of Santa Clarita, California and grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Adriana Farrell all of Santa Clarita, California.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Farrell and parents, Mildred Matayo and Frank Farrell.
