Nancy Sue Barnard, 72, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Melbourne, Arkansas.

She was born in Lansing, Michigan, on July 20, 1947, daughter of the late Glenn and Gladys (Davis) Dowell Nancy spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, homemaker, and friend. She was united in marriage to the late Donald Barnard on January 24, 1977 in Bath, Michigan. Nancy was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Highland, Arkansas. She loved her family very much and always enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. One of her most favorite things to do was to go shopping with her granddaughters.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Vicki King of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; sons, Jeffery Alan Barnard of Eldger, Michigan and Kirk Wesley Barnard and wife Amelia of Eldger, Michigan; 9 grandchildren, Kyle King and wife Laura of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Christopher King and wife Samantha of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Alex Gleghorn and husband Kristopher of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Patrick Alan King of Batesville, Arkansas, Samantha Lynn King of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Jennifer Paige King of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Tad Barnard of Eldger, Michigan, Matthew Barnard of Eldger, Michigan and Ashley Combs and husband Jacob of Eldger, Michigan and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Barnard; son, Gregory Barnard; daughter, Donna Wray; grandchild, Jaden Wray; two infants at birth; parents, Glenn and Gladys Dowell; brothers, Bob Dowell, Donald Dowell, and George Dowell and sister, Betty Sue Hoag.
