Nathan Craig Jackson, 44, of Salem, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Salem, Arkansas on June 9, 1977, and was the son of Ricky Jackson and Lela Kathy (Delargy) Acord. Nathan was united in marriage to Jean Ann Gaskins on May 26, 2001, at First Baptist Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. From this union two sons were born, Chance and Spencer. He loved his family with all his heart and was so proud of his boys. Nathan loved spending time with family, whether they be on vacation or working on old cars. He had a love for anything fast and loud. He liked old cars, especially his black and gold Nova. He also loved rock n roll and was a very hard worker. Nathan was employed by Robertson Contractors until 2016. At that time the community came together, on behalf of Nathan as Jackson Strong. Many lives have been touched and will continue to be blessed by this group as his legacy lives on through his family and this group.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving and caring wife, Jean Ann Jackson; sons, Chance Jackson and Spencer Jackson; mother and stepfather, Lela Kathy and David Acord; sisters, Tanya Wood and Minyo Ticer and husband Mark; brothers, Jerried Hardin and wife Jessica, Jacob Acord; father-in-law, Brian Gaskins and wife Eva; mother-in-law, Debi McNeight and husband Chuck; sister-in-law, Laura Gaskins and nieces and nephews, Tyler Wood and wife Hope, Felicia Wood, Trinity Gaskins, Jetta Gaskins, Makinzy Hardin, Olivia Hardin, Ethan Hardin, Peyton Madden, Haley Ticer, Seth Ticer, Angel Ticer, Sophie Acord and Kyleigh Acord.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Jackson; paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.

Pallbearers include: Heath Williams, Daniel Cannon, Travis Smith, Chad Bookout, Donny Dawson and Tyler Wood

Funeral Services will be held, Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Henry Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Evening Shadows Memorial Park in Horseshoe Bend. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2022, beginning at 5:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend.
