Ramona Katherine Arford

Ramona Katherine Arford, 95, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Ash Flat, Arkansas.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 17, 1929, daughter of the late Harry and Elva (Dibble) Bigelow. Ramona was united in marriage to the late Ronald Arford. She was of the Christian Faith. Ramona loved her family and loved to take care of all the kids. She devoted her life to her family. Ramona enjoyed cooking. She was a great baker. Ramona liked baking cakes and cookies but her favorite cake to bake was chocolate sheet cake. She loved music and always had her radio playing.

Ramona is survived by her sons, Emmett Arford (Linda) of Ash Flat, Arkansas and Russell Arford (Nancy) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughters, Joy McKenna (Steve) of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and Tami Goodman of Florida; sister, Harriet “Sis” Howell of Georgia and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Arford; daughters, Ramona Hales and Ronda Hauck; parents; brother, Bud Bigelow and sister, Betz Weymer.

Graveside services will be Monday, May 5, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM at Evening Shadows Memorial Park with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
