Ruth Ann VanDyne, 74, of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas passed from this walk of life on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Batesville, Arkansas.

She was born in Batesville, Mississippi, on July 9, 1951, daughter of the late William Henry VanDyne and Lucy Virginia (Shupp) VanDyne and was raised in West Point, Arkansas. During her working years, Ruth provided nutrition to residents at The Springs of Searcy for over 40 years. Ruth enjoyed taking trips and spending time with her family. She was a member of Shiloh Assembly of God Church.

Ruth is survived by her son Billy Joe VanDyne of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas; granddaughter Haiden Jayde VanDyne of Searcy, Arkansas; sister Emma Wilson of Violet Hill, Arkansas; nephew Keith Wilson of Violet Hill, Arkansas; niece Alicia Thurman (John) of Ash Flat, Arkansas and great nieces and nephews Hailey Thurman, Carter Thurman and Emmett Thurman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Joe VanDyne and Henry VanDyne and brother-in-law Kenith Wilson.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Shiloh Assembly of God Church in Brockwell, Arkansas, beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Leon Morehead officiating.
