Vera Rudine Jeffery

Vera Rudine Jeffery, age 90 passed away, Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Crown Point Nursing and Rehab in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Rudine was born on February 25, 1925 the daughter to the late Aggie Luther Keylon and Sarah Cora Arnold Keylon. She was united in marriage to Clarence Earl Jeffery on July 14, 1946. She spent her life as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. During her working years she was a school teacher and a cosmetologist. Rudine was a member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Franklin Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Moody of Franklin, Arkansas; one son, Edward Jeffery and wife Debbie of Franklin, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Jessica Gross and husband Lance of Franklin, Arkansas and Matt Jeffery and wife Lauren of Wiseman, Arkansas; and two great grandsons, Keylon and Landon Gross. Rudine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Earl Jeffery; and brother, Luther Delton Keylon. Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2015 beginning at 5PM at Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held, Monday, May 11, 2015 at Franklin Baptist Church in Franklin, Arkansas beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tom Doty officiating. Internment will be at Violet Hill Cemetery.
