Wayne Lyle Adcock

Wayne Lyle Adcock, 81, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, August 29, 2022, in Horseshoe Bend.

He was born in Virden, Illinois, on December 7, 1940, son of William and Agnes (Strawkas) Adcock. Wayne enjoyed fishing, golfing, and model airplanes. He loved his dog, Jenny. Wayne attended St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend.

Wayne is survived by his sons, Stephen Adcock (Lorin) of St. Louis, Missouri and David Adcock (Sarah) of Virden, Illinois; daughters, Carole McKinney of Mt. Prospect, Illinois and Allison Helmerichs (Matthew) of Virden, Illinois; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and sisters, Patricia Espenschied of Tallula, Illinois and Barbara Duncan (Cully) of Phoenix, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents and significant other of over 30 years, Margie Cox.
